What is OCIA?

The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is an in‑depth study of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. OCIA is designed to help participants learn and understand the teachings of the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

OCIA is for:

Adults who are inquiring about the Catholic faith. Adults who wish to become Catholic and Catholic adults seeking Confirmation and/or First Communion
